How to Edit on Anything – Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro

Yeah I know, its not REALLY anything, but this is just a basic idea of what people can get out of some of the more frequently used softwares that can be user friendly. But people are often intimidated by the interface, when in fact, its really easy to learn.

A Recap on FCP X

For those of us who were really looking forward to the latest version of Apple’s pro editing software, I should sum this whole article up by saying “Basically, it sucks”.

But I won’t, its not THAT bad.

A lot of people are pissed about the amount of left out features and the dumbed down simplicity of iMovie ’11. But the magnetic timeline was pretty cool…

But thats about it.

iMovie Pro isn’t really something it should be called. I would have been less disappointed if it were called Final Cut Express X or 4 or whatever stupid gimmick they want to make it sound cooler than it is.

Apple has recently very deceiving towards its loyal market lately, and now they’re getting rid of the MacBook Pro entirely from the market. Meaning its desktop products like the iMac or Mac Pro, and the plastic MacBook.

They’re slowly turning in the wrong direction. And I fear the worst.

Below is a more in depth view on Final Cut. Stay tuned for more to come.

Final Cut X Announced!

Ryan Connolly posted on Facebook a few videos of the announcement of the latest version of Final Cut Pro.

It looks pretty freaking awesome, but my worry is that it looks way too much like iMovie. I wish they had saved such a look of an interface for perhaps a new Express?

All in all, I can’t wait for its release. Check out both of the videos below!
